CHANDRA MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL
Chandra is a coeducational day and government school for grades I to XII . We welcome and enroll students of all faiths, races, and backgrounds, and offer various need – based scholarships each year. We have medium large class size which unable staff to build strong relationship with the children, know their families well and work teachers and parents together as a team for the benefit of the children in our care. Each child is fully supported at each stage of learning .
We are guided by ” Parents in school” and ” Teacher at Home ” principal where staff, teachers, students and parents work together in a safe , caring and tolerant community to provide holistic environment with respect and dignity. This enables the students to achieve emotional, social, physical, moral and spiritual development. In this partnership, Chandra focuses on integrity in technology , skills and value to teamwork in diversified community incorporating local brains with global ideas . All members of the school community will model the behavious expected from the students. In doing this, the school will be a center of excellence at the forefront of education, community development and environment awareness .

Admission Procedure
For Grade XI intake, students who have passed SEE or equivalent examination with GPA 3.2 and 2.8 are eligible to apply for admission for Science and Management/Hotel Management respectively at Prativa. All prospective students will have to go through entrance test in the objective pattern and admission will be granted on the basis of the merit list of the test. The entrance test will be conducted for the subjects mentioned as below:
For Science Stream
English, Compulsory Mathematics + Optional Mathematics and Science
For Management & Education Stream
English, Compulsory Mathematics + Optional Mathematics and Science

Our motto “Education for Discipline and Excellence” not only goes with rigorous scholastic programmers but also, we seek to develop and nurture the different facets of a child. A committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously to create a child- centric school and through collaborative efforts we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow. Chandra tends to go to every extent to achieve holistic development of our children where we guide students to develop capacities, acquire knowledge and virtues and provide service. We are on a path of building an ideal structure for education, liberal ideas and atonement in Science and Technology which would prove best for our future generations. We try to encourage our children to unleash their fullest potential.
